Hi, I’m Mariah Farrell—an aspiring technical writer and content specialist with a degree in English Literature from the University of Florida and a passion for turning complex information into clear, user-friendly content.

My academic background has laid the groundwork for a career built on strong communication skills, critical thinking, and adaptability. Studying literature taught me how to understand diverse and often controversial perspectives, write with a purpose, and engage a wide variety of readers through structure and tone. These skills naturally led me into the world of technical writing.

Before fully focusing on writing, I spent time in both education and property management—fields that may seem unrelated but have deeply informed my approach. Teaching, as well as, property management has improved my ability to explain complex ideas and connect with various audiences, while giving me real-world experience in organization, multitasking, and problem-solving under pressure.

Together, these experiences have made me a detail-oriented writer who thrives on clarity, consistency, and impact. I enjoy working on help guides, SOPs, and training materials—anything that helps users feel informed and empowered.
